I have been looking forward to Tiesto coming to a venue close by for a long time now and once I heard he was coming to Chicago,I was really excited… But the price tag was $75 for general admission. As bad as I want to go being a student and having to pay off car payments etc I couldn’t exactly spend $75 on a concert. Not only am I a fan of Tiesto, I have a passion for his music which has inspired me to begin my own work with mixing trance and electronic music. I remember the first time I was exposed to his energizing crescendos and ambient transitions in the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. From that point I have loved everything he has created from Silence to Adagio For String and most recently Kaleidoscope and I Will Be Here. I cannot describe how much I would love to see him this Halloween live! Not only will it be an amazing experience as a fan, but also as a DJ in progress. I really hope that this will be my chance to see the greatest DJ ever known, revolutionizing the genre over and over with more to come!!!! Thank You Very Much.

I can’t believe I spent all that time in a design with different characters on the keyboard to have it mess up on me like that. Well, I could not think of a better place to be on any day, let alone HALLLOWEEN and TIESTO?!?!?! This may very will be the biggest show Halloween has to offer us in the states. I have never seen Tiesto and have been wanting to for quite some time. I am from out of town and have only experienced this kind of atmosphere and underground scene once and have not stopped thinking about it since. It is truly an amazing experience and I would love to take part of this memorable show.
TIESTO! He really knows how to mix and I know this show is gonna be sick! I’ve always wanted to hit one of these up and I’d be super stoked if I got these tix for me and my girlfriend! I’ve been going out with my girlfriend for a long time, but we still haven’t hooked up. When she saw that Tiesto was playing Chicago, she said that she would finally sleep with me. Tickets are all sold out or ridiculously expensive. It looks like this is my last hope. If I show my girlfriend these tickets so would go crazy. I need these tickets or I might never get laid. Its my girlfriends and my first anniversary this weekend. We both love Tiesto. When I heard that Tiesto is playing in Chicago, I tried to get tickets but they were all sold out or ridiculously expensive. This is my last hope. I’ve veen a fan for a long tym now one of the first dj’s i started listening to. My all time favorite album has been Nyana which i memorized in and out. “As the Rush Comes” by motorcycles my fav. track even ended up buying it on vinyl y enjoy and the search of sunrise compilations!! and had the pleasure of seeing tiesto hear summer of 2006 at the outdoor purenations festival which since then enjoyed seeing him live! but havnt been able to since short on income do to school i even got my younger brother into it. I’ve been wanting to take my little brother to a show but havnt had the chance to now he’s 17 and old enough to attend been looking for tickets but way out of my league to afford just wanting to share a good concert experience with brother. I want to see Tiesto because it’s been over 4 years since I’ve seen him spin here in Chicago. Also, I can’t afford to spend $78 to see him. Too damn expensive.
Not only was my car window bashed in, but my girlfriends purse was stolen which was where she put the 2 tickets I had given to her THAT NIGHT for her birthday. I do not make much, so I cannot afford the taxed up ones that are on craigslist.. That is my sob story. I wont write a million reasons why I am so special, but I get so pissed knowing that somebody else is going to enjoy the show me and my girl were supposed to be at. Help me out man.

Music is my religion and Tiesto is my God. I’m going to be at Congress Theater on Halloween night be it cold or rainy. Now its up to you to decide whether I get tickets to go in or not. If I do get them, its going to be a hell of a night for me and a lucky friend. If not, I’m going to wait outside till early morning with my ear to the walls, and then go home. Whether I get tickets or not, this is going to be a historic performance and I’m going to be a part of it.
Leaving from Dallas 4PM in our suburban train, my friend and I will hopefully miss traffic on our magik journey to be close to you. Since we always nearly forget everything, we’ll stop and grab a fresh fruit so I am strong until at least ten seconds before sunrise, just as the rush comes.
The trip will feel like driving to Heaven and walking on clouds, surrounded by light. In my memory my obsessions have only caused sweet misery, but perhaps my luck will change forever today. It will be the exact event of the century here on earth; I can feel it in my bones.
There might be bad behavior in the dark of Congress, but I’m going to bend it like you don’t care and dance4life, regardless. Tiesto will knock you out with his kaleidoscope of sparkles and his beats will be louder than BOOM! Plus, who wants to be alone on Halloween?

You see there’s this girl, she changed my life forever. Right now, time seems to be against us but that still has not managed to change the way we feel about each other. For the past month she’s had to work 10-12 hour night shifts 7 days a week. If there is anything she needs right now is a break. Going to see Tiesto would mean the world to her! To the both of us it would mean that for a moment in time we would be hand in hand with no clocks ticking, just dancing and our hearts beating as one with the music.
When I found out the show was sold out I almost thought it impossible to find tickets but with this chance, just hope I can give the most amazing woman the surprise of a lifetime.

I have grown up with an abusive father my whole life, I’ve done nothing but try to be the best daughter in the whole world, getting the best grades, missing out on school events…then I started dating and somehow I ended up with an abusive (verbal and physical) boyfriend after another. I didn’t even turn crazy because Tiesto was always my escape! All my problems would go away…I finally met my Mr. Right, one of our first dates was my first (and his first) Tiesto concert at Congress in 2006. We were dating for about half a year at that point and were in love but promised each other we wouldn’t say it until we survived our first big fight (because we both came out of really, really bad relationships), at the concert we had such an awesome time, the best experience ever!, we realized we didn’t have to wait for our first big fight because maybe we were meant for each other and we should live in momment. We are still together and still have not yet had that one big fight to break us, since then we were unable to go to Tiesto, recession has definitely hurt us but we survive through music-Tiesto. My birthday just recently passed and his is coming up soon next month, this would be the best way for us to celebrate our birthdays, be where we first told each other “I love you”…
I love Tiesto so much that I have his bird symbol tattooed on me. Want proof? Check out the picture set as my profile picture. I Dance4Life! His music isn’t just a hobby or something I can just like. His music literally moves me and can fit whatever mood I am feeling. He is an awesome DJ and producer and I deserve these tickets! Come on, who else can seriously say that they have something Tiesto-related tattooed on their body?!

This poem reflects the ability that Tiesto’s music has to be able to portray any and all emotion. I was dying to go to this concert and had some issues and then of course, it was too late to go. My 25th birthday is this year and my birthday is on Halloween. We both produce electronic music and we both actually remixed his new song “Knock You Out” included on his new album Kaleidoscope that he is currently touring and promoting. We did that for the beatportal.com competition which is going on right now and I can provide a link to our remixes and any other proof if needed. We love all his songs, we’re definatelly huge fans, but to see and hear live the entire set including the original song “Knock You Out” ,that we’ve remixed, would be an honor and a dream come true. Please let me win the tix. i bought two tix last year to see him even tho i just quit my job (so i was really strapped on cash) but couldnt see him because i had to move out last minute to my friends house. so i really i need a replacement somehow!!!!
Slightly dazed, I open my eyes feeling well rested and energized. I must of spaced out for a minute because as I gaze around my surroundings I can see thousands of people in a dimly lit renaissance styled theater. Everything seems familiar, but I can’t quite think of the name of the theater. The people around me are dressed in a multitude of costumes, telling me it must be Halloween. Moments later, a large screen flicks on glowing brighter and brighter illuminating a wild crowd cheering and chanting a name… Who’s Name? Although the word is slightly distorted due to the music beginning to play, I discerned that they were chanting,”TIESTO.” Stars began to stream across the screen, in the center, illuminating an insignia I knew so well. A saintly voice begins to flow with the music. It was really him, I was at the Kaleidoscope Tour and this was Kaleidoscope. As the song nears ever closer to the mind blowing crescendo, plumes of smoke are dispersed around the sound stage. Just as the final synth resonates, the song morphs into a euphoric melody, the smoke dissipate revealing the entity of Trance itself. Tiesto. The crowd suddenly erupts into a fusion of dance and liveliness, forgetting their past, not thinking about the future, just the now. If at any point in my life could the generic phrase, live in the moment seem truly relevant to me, it would be here and now. Similar to the others, I am now feeling the pull of the rhythms dragging me under as pure happiness floods my mind. This is the life, I think to myself. Dance4Li… Out of nowhere a girl floats over me as she flows along the current of devoted fans, arms outstretched, but she slips from the grasp of the fellow beside me and the cup she was holding is launched into the air. Seconds later as the cold liquid slams into my face, the concert fades, a piercing scream echoes around me. Groaning I open my eyes to see my little sister holding a water gun as she turns laughing down the hallway. My alarm clock reads 7:38 AM. Schools starts in exactly 22 minutes… Dam.
Sometimes dreams can be made into reality, today that wasn’t the case. But Saturday is another day who knows what could happen.

There is nothing anyone can say that can explain the thrill and the energy that Tijs Michiel Verwest aka Tiesto can give the masses. Many say Armin is #1 in the world but I say WRONG! Greatest DJ is Tiesto. He is pure Magik! His birthday is celebrated on the same day as my 2 year old son, Michiel. Here’s to Music…may it live forever as well as electronica.

I guess this would be my last chance to get tickets because I found out the show is sold out! I really want to goto this show. I have been listening to Tiesto for years. I live in south eastern Michigan and everytime Tiesto comes to Chicago I am there. My girlfriend and I even went to New York for New Years last year and was so amazing. Going to his big gigs are the best times of my life, it is such and amazing experience! Now I found out it was sold out and have to wait till next year! Tiesto has really changed my life. Tiesto concerts have always been one of the best big room clubbing style events in the Chi. I’d even take tix for milwaukee to see what that’s like.

Ight i guess this is kinda a sob story so the first concert i went to (also the last) was Crookers lollapalooza after party at the congress the show wasn’t bad but what happened on the way home was. got hit by a drunk driver and totaled my car so i only remember the bad stuff from that experience it would be so amazing to be able to go to congress again and see my favorite dj live and have a great night.

Tiesto is the reason I started listening to trance and techno music. My dorm room is associated with wall-shaking Tiesto songs…..and subsequent write-ups. I’ve known for several months, since seeing it on his website, that Tiesto was going to come to Chicago on Halloween. Being a college student, though, all the price listings were really too high for me. As exactevents.com is in such a generous mood, I would like to nominate myself and one of my Tiesto converts for these tickets.
I’m entirely out of my mind for every piece he’s created so far but I’ve never had the opportunity to see him live. I’ve seen just about every youtube video of him live and he’s incredible, but I don’t think anything but the live experience would do his music justice. If I don’t happen to win this, congrats to whoever does. You will have the experience of a lifetime. (Though with all seriousness, I would like one of these pairs for myself haha)

This year has been a hard year. my mom recently passed away but i still hold my head high and have a smile on my face everyday. what helped me was tiestos music it always made me move and escape from the everyday scares. Hes such a wonderful dj, i love him…but not only that i respect him. he has changed my life in more ways than i can count. everytime i hear one of his songs i get lost…lost in a world where everything is perfect where i can dance all day no worries at all. My whole life felt like winter until i heard tiestos music then all of a sudden the sun emerged and i felt alive. Dj Tiesto makes me so happy…hes like a drug to me without the narcotics! Since he has entered my life there has been nothing but smiles from me and i feel content and dreams dont seem so much impossible anymore. cause if you never lose your smile…nothing will ever lose you!

Here is a short story:
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Olivia. Olivia was dating a boy named Zac*. Zac was completely obsessed with DJ Tiesto so Olivia and Zac went to see Tiesto any chance they could. Zac mentioned to Olivia that DJ Tiesto was going to be performing in New York at the Roseland Ballroom on New Years 2009. Olivia thought it would be a good idea to get tickets to this show because it would be sweet to spend New Years in New York with the best the DJ in the world! Unfortunatrly, Olivia had a tendency to get too drunk at concerts, especially those of DJ Tiesto, and cause all sorts of trouble and drama. Zac was very hesitant to agree to go for this reason. He warned Olivia that if she drank, it was going to be a bad night and he wasd going to be very mad. Despite all of this, they went anyways. Sure enoiugh, like clockwork, Olivia managed to get completely inebriated by midnight. The night turned out to be a disaster, although Olivia still cannot remember much past midnight. Olivia would love to see Tiesto again but did not get tickets in time for the show on Halloween and is now extrmemely sad. If Olivia won tickets to the show, it would make her extremely hsppy!
Tiesto is my life, i wake up listen to tiesto, in my car i listen to tiesto, when i workout i listen to tiesto, when i go to sleep i listen to tiesto, at the bar i paid twenty dollars to listen to the whole tiesto cd on the jukebox, TIESTO is god. There is no dj like him in the world. I am one of his biggest fans, when i saw the concert was sold out i wanted to die, i am a aspiring dj and tiesto is just suck a great role model to see him live would just inspire me to really get myself out there and do it!! no one deserves these tickets more then me.
