Crown, the newest concept from L.A. nightlife veteran Darin Feinstein, gives patrons the best of both worlds. Entertainers perform earlier in the night and the nightclub part of the venue opens just after the show ends to carry on the party into the wee hours of the night.
The venue is the latest reincarnation of what was formerly the club known as 3121, and before that, Club Rio. Crown has managed to provide a nice blend of talent with a number of promotions like a pole dancing c Because Crown is also a concert venue, the setup is unlike any other club in town. First, the DJ booth is on the on stage, where it is sure to be noticed. It also doesn’t hurt that the stage is flanked with two stripper poles on each side, which takes us back to those pole dancing competitions we were talking about earlier.
The dance floor is where your typical floor seating would be for a concert and is surrounded by three tiers of booths in a horseshoe shape. The stadium-style seating gives patrons a view no matter how big the crowd gets below.
The main bar sits just behind the last level, but Crown is one of the few places you can grab bottle service for a decent price so we suggest getting a table if you have a group.
