In the recent years that Deadmau5 emerged in the electronic music world, he’s gone on to make his way quickly and impressively to the top as one of the industry’s most recognized and successful DJ’s. In 2008 he released his debut album Random Album Title through Ultra Records which featured the hit single “I Remember” with Kaskade. He went on to become Beatport’s best selling artist that year through the sales of his various singles and was also awarded “Best Progressive House Artist” and “Best Electro Artist” by the site both in 2008 and 2009. This year he was just voted #6 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ awards (preceded by top world DJ’s like Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and Paul Van Dyk). He’s also released his current compilation For Lack of a Better Name which features the single “Ghosts N Stuff” with Robert Swire of Pendulum. A self-professed technological “whizz kid”, Deadmau5 takes his tech-saavy background and translates it into a full audio and visual experience in his live performances. He’s currently set out on a worldwide “For Lack of a Better Name Tour” in support of his recent release. His live performances are known to feature his signature mouse head costume as well as full visual video and lighting effects to enhance the audio experience his DJ sets provide to fans. He’ll be returning to Chicago along his world tour on Friday, November 20 at the Congress Theater. so, i wanna see deadmau5 really bad becuase i couldnt on easter. i went to gramaphone records today to get the tix with my girl and they said they just sold the last 4 like 15 minutes before we got there. so pissed. so we go home to buy it online and guess waht.. SOLD OUT! WTF! :[

I found out about this event 2-3 months ago and have been looking forward to it since! I was gonna take my Best Friend of 16 years for her birthday but just got enough money together for 3 tickets and I go to buy them and they are sold out! Basically all my friends got tickets, but before i could get my ticket i had to get my shift covered for work. I finally did and went down to the box office today and they were sold out! A couple months ago i flew all the way down to San Fransisco to see them at the Love festival. Unfortunately my best friend got really sick so i had to take care of her and i was not able to see him even though i had a ticket:( I would adore these tickets to the fullest extent of my heart and appreciate them very much.

My puppy took a dive in a mud bath and I washed her tonight but she smelled pretty awful and my brother got mad at me because I used his shower and my girlfriend got home and the dog laid on her but she was still damp (the dog not the girlfriend wink wink) so the girlfriend got pretty mad and the dog was damp and the apartment cold and I think the dog might have a cold now and I don’t have money for the vet so …
